RIght-Click on CD to Download. Please let me know how you like it. | Composed on our family 1935 Kimball upright piano, this tune was based on yet another eighth-note progression with a melody improvised on top. I originally composed this in 1989 at the age of approximately 17 years.
On the piano, I composed this tune after Inurys, and at the time I felt it was innovative in that the eighth note progression involved a series of four-note chords instead of the three-note chords all my previous progressions were based on.
This was the second tune I arranged in Musician I, and I introduced a violin as part of the melody/harmony thing. As such, this is the first time I used a non-piano sound in music I had created. I also placed some chords playing along with the eighth-note progression, just as I did in “Dream,” which had been my first Musician I arrangement.
Still, I had yet to discover percussion.
Enjoy. |
